Performance Characteristics
1. Erosion resistance
--Compact crystalline phase structure: The main crystalline phases in fused cast AZS 33# paving blocks are closely coexisting corundum and plagioclase zirconia, both of which have excellent erosion resistance.
--High viscosity glassy protective layer: The glassy phase in the block is filled between the corundum and plagioclase zirconia crystalline phases. When attacked by high-temperature glass liquids, an extremely viscous feldspathic glass is formed. Due to the melting of a certain amount of ZrO2, this layer of vitreous is more viscous and less likely to diffuse, thus effectively protecting the block.
2. Good castability and dimensional stability
--Excellent castability: fused cast AZS 33# paving block has good castability and can be made into complex shaped blocks to meet the demand of different parts of the glass furnace.
--Stable size: through the appropriate casting process, can produce a stable size, no shrinkage products, to ensure that the use of the bottom of the paving can be tightly fitted to reduce gaps and leakage.
3. High-temperature resistance
The refractory temperature of fused cast AZS 33# paving block can reach more than 1700℃, which can withstand the high-temperature environment of a glass furnace. Its compressive strength can reach more than 80Mpa, which can make the block not easy to rupture and deform when it is subjected to heavy load and high temperature.
4. Scouring resistance, low pollution
Its dense microstructure makes the block have good scouring resistance, which is suitable for the area where the flow rate of glass liquid is fast. Meanwhile, because it does not contain impurities such as Fe2O3 and TiO2, so when it is in contact with the glass liquid, the bubble precipitation rate is lower, and the pollution of the glass liquid is also extremely rare.
