1、Definition and function
The glass furnace distributor channel is an important part of the glass furnace feeder channel system, which is a channel structure branched from the main feeder channel. Its main function is to distribute the glass liquid from the feeder channel to different molding equipment or working areas according to the predetermined ratio and flow rate, so as to meet the needs of simultaneous production of various glass products or complex molding processes.
During the distribution process, the distributor channel will also fine-tune the temperature of the glass liquid. Since the glass liquid has different temperature requirements in different molding processes, the distributor channel can use its own heating or cooling device according to the specific molding equipment requirements to make the glass liquid reach the best temperature when it reaches the molding equipment. For example, for the pressing molding process that requires a higher temperature of the glass liquid and the blowing molding process with a slightly lower temperature, the distributor channel can adjust the glass liquid coming from the same feeder channel to their respective appropriate temperature.
2. Branch structure
The distributor channel usually has multiple branches, and the number and layout of these branches depend on the number and location of the molding equipment that needs to be supplied with the glass liquid. The angle and length of the branches are precisely calculated to ensure that the glass liquid can enter each branch smoothly during the diversion process, avoiding uneven distribution of the glass liquid.
3. Refractory block selection
For the distributor channel, fused AZS block is one of the most widely used distributor channel materials.
It is recommended to use fused cast AZS 33#PT or fused cast AZS 36#PT.
