Fused cast AZS41# Block normally used in those most crucial areas of glass furnace, like melting tank sidewall, Melting Tank Corner Blocks, Throat Blocks, Barrier Wall Blocks, Electrode Blocks and etc.
Introduction of fused cast AZS 41# blocks:
Fused cast AZS 41# blocks made from a combination of alumina (Al2O3), zirconia (ZrO2), and silica (SiO2) are the highest quality grade of fused cast refractory blocks used in the glass furnace. Fused Cast AZS 41# blocks denotes the percentage of ZrO2≥40.5%. Different Companies may have different indication codes for this quality grade. For example, SEPRO uses ER 1711 for AZS 41#, and REFEL uses 1240 for AZS 41#. With the highest zirconium oxide content, Fused Cast AZS 41# Refractory block is designed to provide best resistance to glass corrosion. Its chemical and physical properties make it be used in the most aggressive area of the glass furnace.
Classification of fused cast AZS41# blocks:
Fused cast AZS 41# Refractory blocks are normally classified into two quality grades:
AZS 41#ZWS (End Cut Casting) and AZS 41#WS (Void Free)
Fused cast AZS 41# blocks have better resistance to high temperatures and corrosive environments in the glass furnace operation
